Bail Hotline Supports Embrace the Streets
We are happy to be a part of San Diego’s Embrace the Streets! Here is some information on this great event: For the 3rd year in a row, Embrace delivered its Embrace The Streets event that benefits homeless civilians and homeless veterans in San Diego.
During the first week of November, 2011, hundreds of college students from San Diego State University (UCSD), University of California San Diego (UCSD), UCLA, San Diego City College, Marquette and others, collected thousands of pounds of clothing and blankets for the homeless. It is officially referred to as “Embrace The Streets Week” in the city of San Diego by San Diego City Council.
Thousands of pounds of clothing, blankets and food were distributed to San Diego’s homeless population on the corners of 16th and Island in the East Village of San Diego. San Diego City Councilman Todd Gloria awarded Embrace its 3 San Diego City Council Resolution declaring the first week of November, “Embrace The Streets Week” in the city of San Diego, and 7th resolution overall.
